Mindel'dançe Festival- Mindelo international dance festival 

the Mindelo  dance festival is a cultural international dance  festival, concepted and promoted by the Cape verdian  dancer Marlene Fortes and zé barbosa, Master of Cape verdian dance in lisbon. 

The Festival,  aims to promote a cultural exchange between dancers and dance students  all over the world and dancers and students  living in Cape Verde, during   five days in  Mindelo, city the cape-verdian cultural capital.

 During five days will be held in Mindelo city

A 3 days series of performances by major established companies and emerging artists from cape verde.

The Dance  Workshops will be held by teachers from across Europe and Cape vert

Cape verdian cultural nights 

Mindelo restaurants and cultural houses with local artits live music 

 the event will bring the city of Mindelo a minimum of 50 dance students   from across Europe for five days, to participate in  Mindel´dança international festival , and to meet cape verdian culture.

 Our mission: to encourage, support, and  preserve our cultural  heritage through continued presentation of dance  works as well as , to build wider national and international audiences , to enhance public understanding and appreciation of cape verdian culture.
